i also tries to practice drawing

i fail at realism too...this took me a while..and it's just the face..OTL
The proportions of the face are not very "realistic", but they don't need to be if you don't want to.
I understand you didn't go for photorealism and I find it quite charming.
really? which part don't look proportional? like the positions of the eyes? or the nose?
i guess it's sorta semi-realism but i would still like to kno which parts looks off~

The most common proportions (that doesn't correspond to every human for sure and also doesn't to every style) is that the distance between chin an nose is about the same of the one between nose and eyebrows and eyebrows to top of skull. So if you're looking for a tradicional canon, here you go. ^^
